Judge calls mistrial due to hung jury in Catholic University murder trial

The jury could only agree on one count: unlawful possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

WASHINGTON — After eight days of deadlocked deliberations and a short break, a judge has granted a mistrial in the case against a man accused of shooting and killing a Kentucky teacher on the campus of Catholic University in Northeast D.C.
