The Detroit Lions on Wednesday signed linebacker Joe Bachie and defensive tackle Jay Tufele, bringing their roster total to 87 players.
Bachie (6-foot-2, 235 pounds), a former standout at Michigan State (2016-19), went undrafted in 2020 but has remained in the league across stints with the New Orleans Saints (2020), Philadelphia Eagles (2020), Cincinnati Bengals (2021-24), Indianapolis Colts (2025) and Tennessee Titans (2025). He’s played 395 defensive snaps over 66 career appearances, including seven starts.
