Loved ones are remembering Dr. Cerina Wanzer Fairfax as a compassionate dentist and devoted mother after her tragic death.

FAIRFAX, Va. — Flowers were left Thursday at the door of Dr. Cerina Wanzer Fairfax’s dental practice, as friends, patients and loved ones mourned her death and reflected on her life beyond her role as a politician’s wife.
“I’m gonna miss my friend,” said Terron Sims II, a friend and patient.
Sims said he first met Wanzer Fairfax in 2008 at an event. He was friends with one of her relatives, and was introduced to her.
