Prince George’s County voters may soon decide whether to maintain or eliminate two at-large council seats in a move prompted by concerns of circumventing term limits

UPPER MARLBORO, Md. — Voters in Prince George’s County may soon weigh in on whether the county should continue electing council members at-large, following an initial vote Tuesday to advance legislation on the issue.

The measure cleared a council committee with eight votes in favor, sending it to the full council for consideration.
