LEESBURG, Va. — A Northern Virginia town is paying up to preserve one of its most historic plots of land, a 13-acre property that was used as a home for more than 200 years.
Last month, the Leesburg Town Council approved contracts to purchase Rock Spring Farm, a property that’s been owned by the Cook family since the 1890’s.
