DC’s Department of Parks and Recreation offers diverse activities to engage young people during spring break, aiming to keep them safe and off the streets.
WASHINGTON — Spring break for DC Public Schools starts on April 13. Students will later return to school on April 20. During that week, DC’s Department of Parks and Recreation is offering dozens of activities for young people throughout the District.
These events were curated to help keep the young people off the streets and avoid police interaction during Spring break, as we saw over the weekend at the Teen Spring Jam.
Our publication features several staff writers, allowing us to report on different events and offer expert perspectives across various subjects.
