On October 24, the Kansas City Chiefs officially placed second-year running back Brashard Smith on their injured reserve list.
The move comes just a day before Kansas City is set to face the Seattle Seahawks at Lumen Field on ‘Sunday Night Football’ in Week 7 of the 2026 NFL regular season.

Smith managed to participate in the Chiefs’ practice sessions on Wednesday and Thursday, but was sidelined for Kansas City’s workouts on Friday, and officially ruled out for the team’s tilt with Seattle.
