The junior from Cornerstone’s athleticism belies her 5-foot-9 stature as she towers over the net for kills. As a setter, her vision and accuracy have keyed the Warriors’ status as a nationally ranked team.

“You wouldn’t know, based on her hits, that’s she’s even undersized,” junior outside hitter Claire Bolton said. “She’s just a powerhouse.”

The Warriors are 27-4 and ranked No. 3 nationally by MaxPreps and No. 7 by Prep Volleyball. Whisenton, who is committed to Baylor, has steered in that effort with 453 assists, 172 kills,
