SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) – The University of South Dakota fell to #14 University of Minnesota in its opening match of the South Dakota Lottery College Volleyball Classic, 3-1.
The Coyotes fell in the first set, however, they bounced back in set two taking it 26-24. Despite taking the momentum, the Gophers took the next two sets 25-17, and 25-14, give Minnesota the win.

South Dakota will play one more match in the event, as it takes on the University of Washington at noon in the Sanford Pentagon.
