Pirates 4, Cubs 3: Matthew Boyd deserved better

Cubs left-hander Matthew Boyd has to be the MLB King of Having His Inherited Runners Scoring. (For lack of a better term.)

This has been happening frequently to Boyd — in fact, that makes three starts in a row where he left with the lead and runners on base and a Cubs reliever let those runners score and in two of the three, the Cubs thus coughed up the lead.
