BRUSSELS, BELGIUM — The fourth-best shot put throw of all time now belongs to a former Missouri Southern Lion.
Missouri Southern Track & Field great Rajindra Campbell captured his first-ever Diamond League title on Saturday with a shot put throw of 23.08 meters.

Campbell was an All-American, an MIAA champion and the 2021 USTFCCCA Field Athlete of the Year during his time in Joplin.
2021 was Campbell’s final competition season at Missouri Southern. Since then, Campbell has represented his home country of Jamaica in the Olympics and has competed professionally in the Diamond League.
