ATLANTA, GA (WJBF)- The Atlanta Braves baseball team may have been on the road this Labor Day weekend against the Phillies, but at Truist Park, they hosted the seventh annual 44 Classic presented by Nike.
76 of the southeast’s top high school baseball players all came together to participate in a pro style workout, featuring former MLB greats like Marquis Grissom. The event also honors the legacy of Hank Aaron, serving as a platform to provide more access and exposure to rising baseball talent. It also gives players a chance to play in front of scouts, coaches, and baseball professionals.
