GRANVILLE, WV(WBRE/WYOU)– The Williamsport Crosscutters scored twice in the eighth inning, and once more in the ninth to comeback on Thursday night for the 6-4 win. The Crosscutters grabbed the win over West Virginia as the team continues its “little league road trip.”
Williamsport took the lead in the eighth inning off of a wild pitch from West Virginia’s Dawson Hall. Nick Romano came home to score on the pitch, making the game 4-3 late. The Crosscutters added another run in the eighth thanks to a Santino Panaro bunt single, scoring James McCoy.
