Never one to shy away from a tough schedule, Tom Izzo and his Michigan State basketball team announced on Tuesday that they will be adding two additional non-conference games to their 2026-27 schedule, and one of those games will be against an old nemesis.
The Spartans announced the following two games, both of which will be played at home in East Lansing:

November 2 vs. Quinnipiac
December 29 vs. Penn
The notable one here, obviously, is the game against Penn just a few days before New Year’s Eve. Penn is now coached by former Iowa head coach Fran McCaffery, an old friend and adversary
