That’s right. Bowers (8-3) submitted Dana (8-3) after nearly getting submitted herself with a rear-naked choke in the first round of their women’s flyweight contest at PFL Charlotte, which took place Friday at Bojangles Coliseum in North Carolina.

Bowers survived an early back take and submission attempt to then take the back of Dana and tap her at the 3:36 mark of Round 1. It was an impressive finish that got Bowers her first win under the PFL banner, having lost her PFL
