The Peoria Chiefs received some new talent from the parent club St. Louis Cardinals on Aug. 6, including two players from the 2026 MLB Draft.
The Cardinals sent outfielder Andrew Williamson to Peoria. He was a second-round, competitive balance-B pick, 68th overall, from Central Florida. The Van Nuys, California native has a big arm and projects as a power-hitting right fielder.
