Aug. 4 is primary day in Virginia. Voters will be selecting candidates to advance to the November midterm elections.
On the ballot is one of Virginia’s two U.S. Senate seats. The office is currently held by democrat Mark Warner. He has no democratic challenger and will move on to the general election in November. Republican voters will choose between three candidates to challenge Warner.
All eleven incumbents in the U.S. House of Representatives are seeking re-election, but only two of the incumbents are facing challenges within their parties: Don Beyer in District 8 and John McGuire in District
