Warriors Lose Homegrown Guard to Phoenix Suns

The Golden State Warriors retained a guard early in free agency, and lost a guard in free agency.

Pat Spencer is headed to the Phoenix Suns on a two-way deal.

In 66 games last season with the Warriors, Spencer started 14 contests and averaged 7.2 points, 2.4 rebounds, and 3.5 assists while shooting 42% from the field and 35% from three on 2.5 attempts per game.

Spencer has only been in the league for three years, but will turn 30 years old on July 4.

He played basketball and lacrosse in college. He went undrafted and headed overseas to play in Germany in 2021
