LSU baseball secured a commitment from transfer portal pitcher Kaden Smith as Jay Johnson added another talented arm to the Tigers’ portal class. Smith is LSU’s seventh portal addition of 2026, and the third pitcher to join the fold.
Per 64Analytics, Smith is the No. 233-ranked player in the portal. LSU will be Smith’s third school in three years after he spent 2025 at TCU before transferring to USF in 2026.
