It was a rough year for the Spartans when it comes to the “major” sports.
CBS Sports has put together a new rating system that looked into where each of the power four schools — 68 included — finished the 2025-26 season. In that list, the following sports were rated on a scoring system that compiled how each sport finished the year: football, men’s basketball, women’s basketball, baseball, softball and volleyball.
