Before the Broncos: Miller (6-9, 335 pounds) was a five-year player at Iowa State. The Scranton, Iowa native began with the Cyclones in 2020 by redshirting during the COVID-19 pandemic season. In 2021, Miller played in four games on special teams, earning his first start in the 2021 Cheez-it Bowl. In 2022, Miller played in 12 games (10 starts), helping Iowa State to the third-best passing yards per game (261.8) in team history.
