Matthew Stafford will be back as the starting quarterback for the Rams once again this year as he enters his 18th season in the NFL. And while he has played the best football of his career in his later years, leading the Rams to Super Bowl LVI to cap the 2021 season and earning NFL MVP honors last season. So it’s a good thing he’ll be back for Los Angeles – but there’s also an inherent higher risk for injury with an older quarterback.
