Texas A&M junior forward named ‘Beast of the Week’

This offseason, second-year Texas A&M basketball head coach Bucky McMillan and his staff are hard at work this summer, working to get the current 2026-2027 roster, now featuring seven new additions from the transfer portal, in tip-top physical shape, which is vital for the Aggies to successfully play in McMillan’s fast-paced system.

One of the program’s key returning players, Indiana transfer forward Mackenzie Mgbako, missed all but seven games during his first season in College Station, as the former five-star product was sorely missed given his NBA-level talent. This summer, it was revealed that Mgbako will return to practice next month
