PWHL Detroit drew a favorable position for Wednesday’s draft at the Fox Theater.
The PWHL announced the draft order on Monday and Detroit will have the third pick in rounds 1-6.
The Vancouver Goldeneyes earned the first overall pick after finishing first in the PWHL’s ‘Gold Plan’ standings during the regular season.

The second selection goes to the Seattle Torrent, who finished in last place in the regular-season standings.
The league’s four expansion teams occupy the next four selections, as determined by a randomized draw in the presence of all general managers
