7 AND 21 ARE NOT LUCKY NUMBERS: The Cubs are 7-21 in their last 28 games. The only other National League team to go 7-21 this year was the Rockies, April 28-May 7. The Tigers have had nine overlapping 7-21 spans, April 23-June 3, and the Angels had four, April 15-May 22. The Angels also had three 6-22 spans during that period. The Tigers were 6-22, May 1-31.
