LAWRENCE (KSNT) – Kansas distance runner Emmah Jemutai joins this week’s episode of K-Nation.
She sat down with K-Nation’s Kole Emplit to talk her impressive individual season, winning two Big 12 Championships and her preparation for the NCAA Championship meet.

Jemutai won both the Big 12 outdoor 800-meter and 1500-meter races. She won the races, which were only 80 minutes apart from each other.
She was also named the Big 12 Women’s Performer of the Year for the 2026 Outdoor season.
Jemutai will compete in the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships beginning on Wednesday, June 10.
