Two FCPS employees from different schools are in police custody for stealing.
FAIRFAX, Va. — Workers at two Fairfax County public schools are facing charges related to stealing, but the crimes appear to be completely separate.
At Hayfield Secondary School, a finance technician is charged with embezzlement and computer fraud.
FCPD says 45-year-old Stephanie Gale embezzled more than $40,000 from the school. The investigation into Gale began in April after detectives received a tip from the FCPS Auditor General of potential misappropriation of funds by an employee.
