WASHINGTON — Nearly 5,000 customers in Northwest D.C. are being told to boil their water after crews found a pumping station experienced power issues, causing low to no water pressure at all in some areas.

“Do not drink the water without boiling it first,” DC Water said on Friday afternoon.

The advisory is in place for Chevy Chase, DC, Friendship Heights, Tenleytown, AU Park, Spring Valley, Cleveland Park, Woodley Park, Van Ness, Glover Park, Wesley Heights, and Cathedral Heights
