Dallas Wings star Arike Ogunbowale called Azzi Fudd the “best shooter in the country” amid the team’s 3-point shooting resurgence. The Wings were second-worst in that category that year, converting only 6.6 shots per game at a 30.4% clip. In 2026, the Wings have averaged 9.1 3-pointers and are converting 37.2% of their attempts, the second-best mark league-wide.
Ogunbowale discussed the team’s improved spacing on Sunday during a media availability session. She credited Fudd’s addition and the criticism surrounding the Wings’ draft strategy for adding another guard.
