Two women injured in Northeast double shooting


Police are looking for a black GMC Yukon driven by a woman believed to be connected to the shooting.

WASHINGTON — Two women were taken to a local hospital after a shooting in northeast D.C. on Friday afternoon.

Officers with the Metropolitan Police Department were called to the 4200 block of Blaine Street shortly after noon. When police arrived, they found two women suffering from gunshot wounds. The women were conscious when they were taken to the hospital, where they are expected to recover, police said.
