5 people displaced after fire caused by wood chips from a smoker in Loudon County

A Loudoun County home was severely damaged, displacing five people and six pets, after a fire caused by improperly discarded wood chips. No injuries reported.

LOUDOUN COUNTY, Va. — Five people, four cats and two dogs were displaced in Loudon County after a fire caused by improper disposal of wood chips from a smoker. 

On Saturday, May 23, around 11:30 a.m., Loudon County Fire and Rescue responded in the 17000 block of Tedler Circle in Round Hill, Virginia. Fire and rescue units from Purcellville, Hamilton, Philomont, Mount Weather, Leesburg, Clarke County, and command officers also responded to
