The Ohio State basketball team has been a familiar face in the CBS Sports Classic since its inception in 2014. The Classic features four teams facing off in a doubleheader non-conference matchup in mid-December. Over the years, the Buckeys have faced the likes of Kentucky, North Carolina, and UCLA with a record of 7-6 overall in the event. Not a bad showing for a “football” school.
This year, the Classic will welcome a new face as the Bruins step aside and the Kansas Jayhawks join the party. As we found out in January, Ohio State will face Kansas in the CBS
