DMV lawmakers react to President Trump’s ‘Anti-Weaponization’ fund

Maryland Congressman Jamie Raskin has already filed a bill to block the fund.

WASHINGTON — Soon after the Trump Administration announced the creation of an “Anti-Weaponization” fund, some lawmakers quickly moved to block its implementation.

The near-$1.8 billion fund is made up of taxpayer money, coming from a settlement the IRS made with President Trump over the leak of his tax returns.
