WASHINGTON — US Attorney for DC Jeanine Pirro announced Friday that her office will begin prosecuting parents of minors involved in so-called “teen takeovers” across the District, saying some could face criminal charges if they fail to prevent their children from participating.
Pirro said parents could be charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor, which is a misdemeanor offense that carries a penalty of up to six months
