Police are investigating a fatal shooting in Northeast D.C., asking the public to watch for a suspect in a dark blue Audi Q5 with possible Virginia tags.

WASHINGTON — Police are investigating a fatal shooting and believe the suspect is in a dark blue Audi Q5 with possible Virginia license plates.
On Monday, officers were called to the 3700 block of Hayes Street, Northeast, around 6:28 p.m. When they arrived, officers found a man conscious and breathing. First responders took the man to a local hospital.
Despite life-saving measures, the man died in the hospital.
