Attorneys for WHCD shooting suspect ask judge to dismiss top DOJ officials from case

WASHINGTON — Attorneys for the suspect in the White House Correspondents’ Dinner shooting filed a motion asking a judge to disqualify some top Department of Justice officials from the case.

Specifically, Cole Allen’s attorneys are requesting a federal judge remove US Attorney for DC, Jeanine Pirro, and Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche, writing that they were both present at the dinner, have stated they heard gunshots, and could be named as victims or witnesses.
