USC baseball sweeps Nevada, clinches program’s best home record ever

This past week marked the final four home games of the regular season for USC baseball. After a Tuesday night victory over Cal State Fullerton, the Trojans welcomed Nevada to Dedeaux Field for their final home series of the year.

Once again, Andy Stankiewicz’s team remained dominant at Dedeaux. The Trojans recorded yet another home sweep, winning 8-0 on Thursday, 11-3 on Friday, and 12-4 on Saturday.

With the victories, the Trojans finished their regular season home slate with a record of 32-1. That sets a record for the best home record in a season in program history.
