Police say a man was shot and nearby restaurant windows were damaged in an early‑morning Navy Yard shooting.
WASHINGTON — An early morning shooting in Washington’s Navy Yard left a man injured and shattered multiple windows at a restaurant, according to D.C. police.
Police said officers were called around 2:34 a.m. Saturday to the 300 block of Water Street SE after reports of gunshots. When officers arrived, they found an adult man conscious and breathing with a gunshot wound. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment. Police have not released his condition.
