WASHINGTON — A community gathered Saturday night to honor a Washington, D.C., mother of three who was shot and killed inside a Prince George’s County park as police continue searching for answers in the case.

Family members and loved ones held a vigil for 38-year-old Juanita Frazier, remembering her as a devoted mother, caregiver and protector.

“A protector, a mom of three children,” said Dionne Milli, Frazier’s cousin.
