FREDERICK, Md. — In a shop in Frederick, the first thing customers hear is a warning.
“I’m not your traditional antique store.”
It’s not a line. It’s a philosophy. There are no delicate china sets. No dusty knick-knacks. As owner Paul Berkowitz puts it, “No tchotchkes, no china, no junk.” What fills the space instead is simpler—and more personal.
“It’s my taste,” he says.
