Man posts on X from top of Frederick Douglass Memorial Bridge, calling for the end of war in Iran, warns of human extinction from AI

The man took to the social media platform, X, while on the bridge, calling for an end to “the Trump regime’s illegal war on Iran.”

WASHINGTON — Lanes are closed, and a barricade situation is unfolding after a person reportedly climbed on top of the Frederick Douglass Memorial Bridge on Friday.

According to the Metropolitan Police Department, officers are currently at the bridge over the Anacostia River after a person “walked on top” of it.
