HOWARDSVILLE, Va. — Loudoun County is highlighting one of its most historic municipalities, and also one of its best kept secrets, with the simple step of installing small, green streets signs.
Howardsville occupies a special place in the county’s history, having served as home to one of its first communities consisting primarily of freed slaves, according to Loudoun County Economic Development project Loudoun Farms.
