A man in Bowie, Maryland, was seriously injured by his dog before police fatally shot it during the attack, investigations by local authorities are ongoing.
BOWIE, Md. — Officers shot a dog after they saw the dog attack its owner on Sunday morning, April 26 in Bowie, Maryland.
Around 7:30 a.m., officers from the City of Bowie Police Department responded to the 13000 block of Midsummer Lane after a report of a dog attacking its owner. When police arrived on scene, they found a 52-year-old man lying on the ground being attacked by the dog.
