A fire at Springfield Hospital Center is under investigation for arson. Here’s what we know.
SYKESVILLE, Md. — A fire that broke out at Springfield Hospital Center is now being investigated for arson.
Around 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, Sykesville Freedom District Fire Department and several surrounding departments responded to a building fire. Once they arrived on scene firefighters discovered two different buildings on fire on 1121 2nd Street and 1123 2nd Street. Both buildings are vacant Maryland Department of Health properties.
