FORESTVILLE, Md. — Maryland State Police are investigating a fatal crash Saturday on the Capital Beltway that claimed the life of a highway worker in Prince George’s County.

The victim was identified as Robert Dempsey, 40, of Ellicott City. He was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency medical personnel.
