Teen shot in Southwest D.C. marks fourth teen shooting in 10 days

The shooting follows a fatal teen shooting near H.D. Woodson High School and another that killed two boys in Northeast D.C. last week.

WASHINGTON — Police are investigating another shooting involving a teen, this one in Southwest D.C.

MPD officers were called to the 4600 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue around 12:17 p.m. for a reported shooting. When officers arrived, they found a teen male who had been shot. Police say he was conscious and taken to a local hospital for treatment.

So far, police haven’t released any information about a possible suspect
