City Wildlife is monitoring the nest.
WASHINGTON — A new neighbor is grabbing attention on K Street Northwest. No, we aren’t talking about Polymarket’s Situation Room pop-up bar. A nesting duck has decided to get cozy in a tree box.
Nonprofit organization City Wildlife appears to be monitoring the nest. They posted a sign on a tree stump asking residents to fight the temptation to feed it. They say the treats could attract rats and endanger the eggs.
City Wildlife was created to address the need for wildlife rescue and rehabilitation in Washington, D.C.
