The San Francisco 49ers will not be selecting at No. 27 overall in the first round of this year’s draft. They made a trade back with the Miami Dolphins according to NFL Media’s Mike Garafolo.
San Francisco received pick Nos. 30 (Round 1) and 90 (Round 3) from Miami in the deal per ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

This move gives the 49ers some much-needed Day 2 draft capital. They no have the No. 58 pick in the second round and their newly-acquired third-round choice. The 90th pick is the 26th third-round selection.
