LSU’s depth in the secondary under first-year coach Lane Kiffin took a major hit over the weekend.
LouisianaSports.net’s Matt Moscona reported on Tuesday that Tigers cornerback Aidan Anding suffered a torn Achilles during Saturday’s scrimmage. Kiffin later revealed that the sophomore will miss the entire 2026 season with the injury.

Though Anding wasn’t expected to start at LSU this season, it’s still a big loss in a room that already had some depth concerns. Anding was reportedly running with the second team in spring, and he hauled in two interceptions during the scrimmage. He was injured while making the second pick.
