Drawing from his own experiences as an immigrant and his deep understanding of economic disparities, he has crafted a movement that challenges conventional financial systems and advocates for a new ideology—one rooted in creation, collaboration, and personal transformation. Through his podcast, speaking engagements, and advocacy, Dar is inspiring countless individuals to reclaim their financial independence and, in turn, their greater sense of purpose. In this interview, we got Dar’s input on the challenges in the US and the solutions he sees and shares on his platform.
- Your work with Extraordinary America focuses on financial freedom and breaking free from what you call “financial slavery.” What initially inspired you to launch this movement, and how has your personal journey shaped your mission? I grew up as an immigrant in the middle eastern desert nation Kuwait, where I witnessed firsthand what life was like for many immigrant workers from all over the world, but especially the Indian subcontinent. When I came to America and became a citizen, I thought I left the past behind me. But that obviously wasn’t true. Most Americans are suffering from some form of Financial Slavery or other due to loss of jobs, low income stagnant wages, inflation and debt. There is a blatant hypocrisy between the American identity of Freedom and the financial reality that most are going through. So that’s why I started the mission of Extraordinary America.
- You’ve spoken about how rising debt, stagnant wages, and inflation are trapping people into financial dependence. What key changes do you think America needs at a policy level to reverse this trend? An Important policy change would be implementing financial literacy and education to transform the 99% into ethical entrepreneurs and investors with the goal of achieving financial freedom. Financial literacy is a key pillar of a new economic ideology called Ethonomics, which is based on science, mathematics, and ethics. Ethonomics promotes a mindset centered on abundance and prosperity rather than scarcity and survival. While the current economic system, rooted in the ideas of Adam Smith, has led to advancements, it also perpetuates poverty and oppression. Any Economic system that is not based on the principles of creation, collaboration and cooperation is ultimately doomed to fail.
- Beyond economics, Extraordinary America also emphasizes societal and spiritual empowerment. Can you elaborate on how financial freedom ties into a person’s sense of purpose, community, and spiritual fulfillment? Financial Slavery is a terrible thing. Being in debt while working dead end jobs, living paycheck to paycheck while your wages don’t match with inflation can be very taxing to us as individuals. it crushes our individual spirit and takes away any sense of purpose, direction or hope of achieving the American Dream. Financial Freedom is a Domino effect that allows us to reach our full potential in life and be generous which creates a ripple effect with our friends, family and community. It also allows us to have time to devote to spirituality which prioritizes inner peace, tranquility and bliss over happiness through materialism.
- We live in an increasingly polarized society. How do you think financial struggles contribute to political and social division, and what role does Extraordinary America play in uniting people despite their differences? Wealth, income inequality and the daily financial struggles of Americans is at the root cause of political and social division. We notice throughout history that when such financial hardships continue, demagogues spring up and blame immigrants and Outsiders as scapegoats for the ills of society which eventually leads to Totalitarianism. Extraordinary America emphasizes Tapping into our Immigrant Entrepreneurial Identity as Americans to solve our problems and embrace the ideologies of Ethonomics, Neo Humanism and the Law of One to overcome our differences. We are all children of the One supreme father of the Universe and are all equal in his eyes.
- Your podcast features entrepreneurs and individuals who have broken free from financial hardship. What are some of the most inspiring success stories you’ve encountered, and what common lessons can people apply to their own lives? There are so many stories of different people that fought against seemingly impossible odds to attain the heights of success! There are stories about people coming out of abject poverty to becoming multimillionaires, tales of people coming here as immigrants and succeeding despite the many barriers they faced culturally and financially. Some of the main lessons I gleaned from interviewing these people is that if you have a vision combined with unwavering persistence, determination and discipline, then you can succeed in whatever you put your mind into. I also learnt that your environment doesn’t have to define you and that with the right thoughts and actions, you can overcome your past and the negativity around you!
- If you had to give one piece of advice to someone currently struggling financially, feeling stuck in debt or paycheck to paycheck—what would it be? Where should they start on their journey toward financial freedom? I would tell them never to feel down or give up hope. There are many people out there that were in the same shoes as you, that through the right thoughts and actions became entrepreneurs who attained financial freedom! If they can do it, so can you! I would certainly suggest they look up Extraordinary America on YouTube, Apple or Spotify and listen to some of the episodes over there for starters. Depending on whether they want to hear great stories, mindset or actual strategies and tactics on business and money, there are episodes for each one of those.
- Looking ahead, what’s next for Extraordinary America? Are there any upcoming projects, initiatives, or expansions that you’re particularly excited about? Right now, our focus is getting Extraordinary America’s message of abolishing financial slavery out to as many people as possible. I can see Extraordinary America getting more traction and expanding through different media outlets in the future.
- You’ve spoken about America’s reliance on a fiat currency system and the risks it poses to long-term financial stability. Do you see a clear path for the country to transition to a different financial system and how would this begin? Unfortunately, on a realistic level, a transition to another financial system would not happen until our Fiat currency has been inflated away through relentless money printing. If you look at history every fiat currency has failed, and this time won’t be any different. In the event of another economic crisis which is very likely in the near future, the government and Fed will respond by printing more money as it did for the 2008 crisis and 2020 pandemic. That’s when ideas for a different financial system will be taken seriously.
Cosmos Dar’s vision for Extraordinary America is not just about financial success—it’s about reclaiming the American Dream for all. By addressing systemic economic challenges such as rising debt, stagnant wages, and inflation, Dar promotes financial literacy and the concept of “Ethonomics” as a solution to break free from financial dependence. Through his podcast, he shares powerful success stories of those who have defied the odds, reinforcing the idea that anyone, regardless of background, can achieve prosperity.
